I am constantly eyeing images, catching the angles and delving for the mysterious. It is essential to my work for me to have an emotional reaction. I am greatly inspired by light and shadow in architecture and landscape. My work tends to tell a story of abandonment, mystery and longing. It isn't what is said that holds the viewer's attention but what is NOT said. It is fulfilling when I know that viewers are moved with a sense of memory, time and space. I believe there is a magical time for everything whether it is the time of day the light hits the houses, or when the landscape is speaking in dreams. Everyone and everything has it's moment. |
